Cane is bent manually in fabricated jigs and moulds.
To achieve the bend, heating of the pole is an absolute necessity.
We use the Steam thod, as it is suited to cane with a diameter of
more than 30mm. It is important to determine the bending tolerance
for the cane species and size.
