There are a wide variety of jointing techniques for cane.
In most cases, screws and nails will be used with glue to strengthen the joint.
Screws are used for fixing the load bearing and support joints, while nails are usually
used for non-load bearing joints and decorative attachments. The
parts are then partly assembled. Further bending may be required to acquire its
final form before final assembly.
